About authenticity, colour, and tables where life truly happens
Hello, it’s lovely to have you here. This is the very first post on this website, so I’d like to tell you what Nogano Design really is - and why this brand came to life.
Nogano Design is a new brand built from scratch near Toruń, Poland. It was created as a response to the growing lack of authenticity in our homes. We often see beautiful interiors online - don’t get me wrong, some of them truly are stunning. We save the photos, draw inspiration from Instagram, and eventually buy a flat or a house, trying to recreate what we’ve seen.
And this is where the “but” appears.
We move into a space that doesn’t fully feel like ours. It doesn’t reflect our passions, our pace of life, or who we truly are. Instead of a home, we end up with something that feels more like a museum. A museum where everything is white, beige, or grey.
Nogano Design is an answer to those beautiful yet impersonal interiors - spaces that simply need a bit more courage, colour, and room for authenticity.
Now, you might be wondering what exactly we create. The answer is simple: tables, coffee tables, consoles, and much more in the future.
You may not realise it, but a table is one of the pieces of furniture most present in our everyday lives. As children, we made our first drawings at the table. Later, life forced us to solve maths problems involving complicated formulas (don’t worry - I still haven’t used them as an adult either). We shared meals prepared with love by those closest to us. And there were also arguments, tears, and difficult conversations that most of us have experienced around a table.
Nogano Design is built around one simple truth that follows us throughout life:
Life happens around the table.
And if life is full of colour and emotion, our furniture shouldn’t be limited to neutral blacks and whites. At Nogano Design, our mission is to bring interiors to life by creating beautiful, functional furniture that combines modern design with Polish craftsmanship — bringing colour, energy, and character into European homes.
The time has truly come to turn dull, lifeless spaces into places filled with joy and life. We believe that the table is the heart of everyday living.
Nogano Design was created for those who are looking for something non-mainstream, yet deeply personal. We don’t believe in one interior that fits everyone. We believe in the courage to express who you are. That’s why we give you a choice — of colour, character, and mood. Because you know best what suits you. We simply help you bring it to life.
The DNA of our brand is not about following trends. We create with soul. Our tables are made locally in Poland, and the legs are produced in cooperation with my grandmother’s company. It’s a story about generations, craftsmanship, and a genuine connection to the product. We introduce modern, minimalist forms to the European market, while bold colour remains our signature - a response to the blandness of contemporary interiors.
Unlike typical furniture manufacturers, we do not produce on a mass scale. We focus on short series and conscious production. Each piece is made to order, allowing us to avoid overproduction and offer personalisation. We care deeply about quality - supported by certifications - responsibility, and close control over every stage of the production process.
We have no interest in importing furniture in containers from Asian manufacturers. The Polish furniture industry has been a source of pride for decades, which is why local production, respect for craftsmanship, and responsible material sourcing are so important to us.
